New to this...

Hey People!  I joined this forum a few days ago, and I am really getting into reading all of your stories.  A little bit about myself....I have been addicted to pain pills for two and a half years.  Lately, it has been causing more pain than good, and I am trying to be brave and get off of them.  It is REALLY hard.  I feel like I'm completely useless when I am not on them, and I'm scared of having some serious withdrawls.  I have tried here and there for a few days at a time, and I always end up going back, where I feel "safe".  It SUCKS BIG TIME!!  Last weekend, I came off for about a day and a half.  I of course was absolutely miserable.  Right now, I am battling with myself and trying to convince myself that it CAN be done....and that is why I am here!!!  =)  More later..........
