So my story was not smooth sailing but the rewards were great.
I was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday 9th at 6pm which was my due date to start the induction process. A tablet was inserted in my cervics for it to start opening. When this was done the midwife began monitering my bp (because I started have high bps coming to the end hence the decicion for the induction) the also tried to moniter Talisha but she would not settle long enough for them to get a proper reading. At the end of the night I just slept and waited for some progression in my cervics.
On Thursday 10th at about 8 am my Dr came and check my cervics, seein g I had dilated 2cm she broke my water bag and put me on syntocin (or so I think its spelt). That began at 11:10 am and along woth it the most excruciating pain I had ever felt in my life. I went like this straight up to 6:00 pm when my Dr again checked my cervis and I had just gone from 2cm to 5cm with my bp still high.
So at the point dh and I had to make the decision to have a c section. I went I in the operating theatre at 8:00 pm and at 8:15pm my husband meet his princess, I saw her (though very grogy about 1/2 hour later) Talisha weighed 9lbs 6 oz and because I am so short my body could not adjust to push her.
Now she is here as has everyone under her spell being the first grandchild for both my parents and my husband, the first neice to both my brother and my husbands brother and being the first great grand for the grand mother on my mothers. So she is truely Queen Talisha and at 4days she knows it.
I hope to be able to upload pictures soon for all to see. Thank you ladies for all your support through the ups and MANY downs, I truely wish you all can shatre this joy with me.
