NOV.11 08.  In September, attended RLS/PLMS lecture in Ottawa.   RLS group, Ottawa.  Raised question about importance of balance between calcium and magnesium which had checked out with Dr. Andrew Weil's vitamin advisor.  Apparently good functioning of brain depends on enough magnesium.  Weil suggested I add 100 magnesium, taken in the evening (since June?) and really do think my PLMS has lessened. Dr. WG of RVH (endo) had also increased my calcicum (Biocal 500 mg.) at last annual check. I was beginning to be aware of spasm in different places during day as well as night but now I am sleeping better, only feeling the occasional muscle jerk in day and more energetic. I am also determined to DO less and try to do most activities monday, tuesday and wednesday.  Reducing B100 to B50 because stress level (legal matters) declining.  Lecturer, when questioned, reported not enough serious research has been done on the mag.calc. connection but that he was of the opinion there was "something to it"!
