Sadness fills the day

Feb 12, 2008 05:40AM - 3 comments

My husbands sister passed away last nite. She was only 44 years old. We're not sure what happened other than to say when we got the news of her being in the hospital she was already on life support. This is the third death in our small family in lesst than 2 months.

I pray for strength for my husband. His mother passed away 2 months ago and now his sister. I am also praying for strength for our neice- she is just 23 years old and now is on her own.

What else can be said except- God will get us through.

I know that these days are filled with sadness and sorrow for you and your family.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.  Having been throught the same just a year ago, I know how much the heart can hurt right now.  God has His plan for each of us.  He answers all our prayers, it's just that sometimes the answer is No.  It does help to think of all the wonderful times shared together instead of the loss.  God only places on our shoulders what He knows we are capable of carrying.
Carri Underwood has a beautiful song on one of her CD's called "Whenever You Remember".  It's wonderful.  May
God be with you and Bless you and your family throughout this time of loss.  Be good to yourself, and one another.

Blessings -

Sorry to hear about your tragdey. Just remember "memories are the deposits of life to be withdrawn at sorrowful times". Love to you all- hug one and another and remember to chat about the person you have lost-no body ever wants to say the name but talking about her might stopping the bottling up of grief that people often do

sympathy to you and yours
