Damn gyne practitioner wont give me estrodiol anymore. I was on it for almost 10 years for surgically induced menopause (hysterectomy) at age 36.  Since I'm on Coumadin now, she said that I can't be on estrogen. I checked with my cardiologist and he has NO PROBLEM with me being on both..in fact he has patients who are on BOTH and it is only contraindicated when estrogen/progesterone are taken in combination with coumadin.  How about that?  So I told my gyne practitioner this and she said "we will not prescribe it with you on coumadin." I asked why if it was ok with the cardiologist...she said "liability issues."
So here I sit, depressed, post surgical and menopausal with hot flashes all at the same time! UGH@@ljda9830!!!!

Try getting your regular doctor or cardiologist to prescribe it.  You poor thing :(
