It takes so very little to give a gift.  Talked to a health provider on the phone yesterday... she was very kind and
helpful.... I asked her to look in the mirror when she got home and say to herself... good job.... I help a stranger
today.

Took a small gift into the pharmacy where someone was very attentive to my reaction to my reading on blood
pressure machine.  My " Holy #%#^%^" got a lot of attention.  She helped me settle down etc.  I took her in
a small treasure box and she came running out behind the counter for a hug.  Told her how important it is for those
of us to see the caring and the smiles that I know are sometime hard to muster as your looking at frowns of the
waiting.   I just told them rather loudly noticing some disgruntled patrons "thank all of you for taking so much time..
it avoid mistakes.

When feeling really down or think life is sort of a drag and why me.....especially if your problems are really
not life threating.... sure hard and not a lot of fun... visit a hospice center or speak to someone who is
no longer living and asked yourself..."would she or he trade places with you or me for a few more
days to watch the sunset, feel the rustle of leaves beneath their feet, awaken to the naughty confrontation
of a couple of blue jays... feel arms enfolding you, and above all, peer into to pools of innocence in the eyes
of the children.
