Speedy has been very active today and really testing our dog.  He just licks her face and goes back to sleep.Shee loves our bed.  Jumps sky high and will need to be trained not to jump on table, counters ect.  Very loving and entertaining.  I even got dressed today.  So, unusual my hubby actually asked if I had an appt.  That is really bad.  It is time for meds and I am hurting so will close and keep people posted.  Happy Thanksgiving every one.  Be safe but have fun.

Good to hear frm you.  I hope your sister enjoys my grandson's description.  It really made adifficult time in our life so much more bearable.  Welll yesterday speedy started to squeek.  She can't really meow yet.  Yeh we changed her name to squeeky.  It suits her.  Hubby and I decided that regardless of any other behavior we will stay with squeeky.  She slept with us again.  Mostly with John.  Gotta go find her to make sure she isn't in trouble.  Have a great weekend.  Are doing ok?  Sometimes I get so caught up in my life I forget others have a life too.  I do care.

addenum:  Yeah, I got dressed as I was feeling great.  I think this kitten will be helpful mentally, emotionally, and responsibly.  I actually fixed up a basket with my dolly blanket.  She jumps in and curl up in a ball.  She is getting a little trained.  If I am lying on the couch all I ave to do is pat my chest and she will jump up and lay down.  She has a well pet visit Monday.  Came with her price.  Only thik I am a little concerned about is she is sneeezing alot.  I really think when she was investigating the house she found some dust, sniffed and got a few particles in her nose.  However want to be sure.  Doesn;t cost to get her checked.  I also was going to buy a scratch pole but was reading in the material sent home with her a small round log with bark still on it is usually great for scratching.  So I will go to wood shed and see if I can find the perfect log.  I told John last night going to bed that it had been one of my best days in a long time.  I still had brain fog, forgetting a few things.  Had aa lot og pancrease pain but was able to walk my self thru it.  I also need to be aware and not bore people with squeaker's life. If I can figure out how to post some oic will do so.  Hubby and I get to go grocery shooping today.  Usually by time we do that, and but them away I am exhausted.  That helps me reaffirm why I am home and not working.  Sometimes I feel like I should be at least trying to work but after a really ad fog day or exhaustion after only a couple of hours I know why I am here and not there.  Gotta go.  Take care, will share my favorite Christmans story in a couple of weeks.

Uh oh. If she's sneezing she might have an upper respiratory infection, pretty common with cats from the pound. They are in such tight quarters with each other they tend to make each other sick. It's best to get her in as soon as possible before she gets too sick. You may need antibiotics for awhile.
I had this happen with my cat when I first adopted her from the pound. She was sneezing, watery eyes, etc., for a long time. She went through two rounds of antibiotics before she finally got better but it took months. I think she had a bad case of it, though. Hopefully, your kitty isn't as sick as mine was.

And you're not boring us with stories about her! I'm enjoying them!
But I'm confused,
Is her name Speedy or Squeaky?

Thanks you april.  Initially she was called speedy.  It sorta fit her but I just didn't feel it clicked with me.  Last night in bed John and I talked about names again and we both liked squeaker as she does not meow.  I like it, she likes it, and it is FINAL!!!.  It will not be changed.  I know kennel cough with dogs and URI with kittens can be a real concern.  I have an appt with vet on Monday.  She has not sneezed at all today.  Hopefully it was just some dust.  I put a little basket at end of couch with her blamket and my doll blanket in it.  She takes her little stuffed pig ( with no buttons or loose threads) in basket with her to take a nap.  I have some really cute pictures.  later this evening will try to put them on my profile.  Another positive day.  I actually have been productive the last 2 days.  i am proud of myself.  I have been real good at taking breaks tp avoid over tiredness.  I got my tupperware draw cleaned, my junk drawer done and worked on my junk room.  The activities have been over the last 2 days.  How are you doing?  How is your son doing?  Did you get any good suggestions for the next appt?  I want you to know I think of you often and pray that all is going well.  Take care.

Thanks Stubby! I think I've found a new dentist. I put it on my journal. I hope this one works out. Thanks for the prayers! I appreciate it! God is good. He has always been there for me. I just get impatient a lot and want answers sooner than I get them! Lol.

Squeakers is cute! My cat squeaks too! It's so funny. She doesn't meow like a regular cat, she kind of makes this squeak noise! It's real cute!

I had a productive day too! I cleaned house all day! Oh joy! I hate cleaning but love a clean house, lol. Tomorrow will be a busy day and we have company coming over. I may or may not get on here. Take care and glad the kitty is fitting right in! They have a way of doing that!
See, you need a dog next! Then you would have to take walks with the dog! They can be a great motivator! Sometimes it can be fun to get one of each or two kittens or two puppies so they can play together and grow up together. I think that's what I'm going to do next time.
Take care!
