hello , my problem is i have been having excessive saliva for about 18 years, spit about 300 times a day, been diagnosed with, sinusitis, chronic bronchitis, asthma, since 1991, then went back to the doctor in 2001 then 2-4-08 and he told me (different doctor) i have acid reflux, sinusitis again, diabetes type 2 , went to a ENT on 2-14-08 he said there is no cure for excessive saliva, also put camera down my nose and said everthing looked fine except my nose is crooked inside, thats why i can't breath sometimes out of one nostril and i take the four way nasal spray 2 or 3 times a week, anyway i just need to cure my saliva problem, can anybody help or has anyone  had or have this problem. thanks

I have recently started having eccesive saliva, its that bad it feels as though a tap has been turned on in my mouth and icant swallow it fast enough which then starts me vomiting,it lasts for about five minutes. One night I woke up and felt as thought I was drowningended up being sick.

my father is 84yrs old, with a severe problem of excessive spitting, his is constantly spitting everywhere, on the floor on the walls, he carrys a plastic bag to spit. He is forgetful, and doesnt use the bag. His wife is about had it, she gets very upset with him everyday. Especially having to clean up after him, it even makes her sick to her stomach, and its putting a big strain on his marriage. My father says he cant help it, he refuses to wear his dentures, is this habit or does he have a medical problem. This such a nasty thing of having to spit out every where. Does any one have any recommendations, he was never a spitter before, up until a fews ago, and it is getting worse.
