Thank you everyone for all your wonderful comments, prayers and positive thoughts! We are doing good no contractions for over a day now yay! Got the last steroid shot for the boys lungs. My ob came by and said last night and said they treated me aggressively and these boys will be born early it's just a matter of when and hopefully I can go a little longer. That's why he did the steroids now to so when they do come they are already prepared.

I was so hungry I begged him to let me eat a cracker! He laughed and said since I'm doing so well he will let me have light meals but the moment I have contractions or bleeding no more food. It felt so good to eat! I had only slept 2hrs in 2 days I was so tired I was to tired I couldn't sleep. Dh layed in bed with me to see if that helped me sleep it did a little. When dh went home (he had to cause we have a dog at home) I decided to take benedryl the doc offered me and I was out like a light , actually slept 6hrs but woke every 2 to pee.

My ob came this morning but I was sleeping so he didn't want to wake me. He will be back later. But I have an ultrasound with my peri doc tomorrow at 11am. My ob said hopefully all this was caused from the end part of the placenta that was covering my cervix. They were hoping it would move or detach( not the whole placenta but the tail piece).

I hope so to cause that would mean the placenta over my cervix is not an issue anymore and it's what caused my contractions. And also tomorrow I will be off all meds and they will monitor me for 24hrs to see if I get contractions if I don't I will most likely be released home on some type of bed rest with meds to keep contractions away.

On a funny note. They check the boys hb's twice a day and at night is the hardest cause they are so active! Baby A was pretty relaxed last night. But it took over an hour to wait for baby B to stop moving long enough to get a good 15 min reading. The cutest part was listening to him when he was having the hiccups lol. At one point he sounded like he was doing construction in there lol. They are quiet during the morning and day we had no problems listening to them this morning.

Update: my ob walked in as I was typing anyway he said the biggest thing for him is to see where the placenta is and so he will know if I had to deliver if it would be vaginal or c-section. He said the goal right now is to get to 30wks. If I do then the next goal is 32wks ect. So after being monitored tomorrow off the meds and depending on what the u/s shows I might be going home tomorrow. I will be on bed rest but moderate bed rest. So I can walk short distances like to the bathroom ect. No lifting more then the weight of a gallon of milk. He said I could go to my shower as long as I sit and do nothing he means absolutely nothing. Honestly me and dh don't care if the house is messy ect. Most important is to keep these boys inside as long as possible. Either my sis will come clean for me and shop for the rest of the baby stuff I need or I will have to do it once the babies are born and in the nicu (which I'm sure they will be) I can get everything ready then. So I'm not gonna stress about anything now. I'm excited to see my boys tomorrow. I will keep you all posted! Love you all!

I hope that you and the boys keep doing well! Get lots of rest, and I hope you can hang in there and not deliver until at least 30 weeks. It's so good that you were able to get the steroid shot. That will give them a much better chance at avoiding lung problems. Good Luck and hugs!! XXXX

Exactly!!   You stay off your feet!!! You can always order things off the Internet too!  Girl, my house has been a mess for months!!  Being allowed to only be up 4 hours a day, sure puts a damper on what one can get done.....but, who cares!!!  You just rest, and let those babies grow stronger :). P.s.  I am sooooo glad you got to eat!!! Yay!!!!!!

Thoughts coming your way!!!!!

I'm so glad things are getting better! It sounds like the worst is over! Your goal momma is to rest up! Let everyone else worry about the stuff that must get done. I'm sure they will pull together and help out. Sending you positive vibes and prayers for both you and you lil boys to be healthy and strong!

so happy to see that contractions have stopped ... I guess those boys heard all of us telling them to stay put!!   and cleaning should be your DH's domain by now .. ours is. .. it doesn't happen that often but he is aware that he is in charge of that!  a bit of dust never hurt anyone though!  most important thing is getting those 2 strong and healthy!

That is wonderful news.  It may make you a little crazy to be inactive, but enjoy it while you can!  Grow babies, grow!

Thanks ladies! Yep I think the boys heard you and are staying put for now! Tomorrow I will find out if I can deliver vaginally or I will have to have a c-section. I hope we make it to 30wks or more!

Dh does the majority of the house work all I do is a little straightening once in a while but I'm lucky cause I know my dh will do whatever I need him to.

im glad they are still in there.. this is a really scary situation.  I went into the hospital at almost 31 weeks after some really painful contractions and found out i had almost no cervix, it was so thinned...  I was given steriods too and the doctors expected me to have my daughter by 32 weeks.. They said making it to 32 weeks makes a world of difference..  I only had a week to go but it was scary because i was having nonstop contractions but thankfully when the ywould work into a regualr pattern, they would stop.. i had some like 2-3 minutes apart for a while..  Well i made it to 32 weeks, then 34 weeks, then 36 weeks.. then at 37 weeks i went into labor and at that point was 90% thinned and 3-4 cm dilated.. then it stopped and i finally gave birth at 39 weeks 6 days......  Craziness!  i cant count how many times I was told, you probably will have the baby in the next couple days if you make it that long..  my OB did not think i would make it passed 32 weeks.

Im sorry you aregoing through this... and with twins, you will have them early but Ill pray that you can keep them in there as long as possible. I have a friend whos baby was born at 30 weeks, she was in the NICU for a very long time but she is doing great.
