Thank you everyone for all your wonderful comments, prayers and positive thoughts! We are doing good no contractions for over a day now yay! Got the last steroid shot for the boys lungs. My ob came by and said last night and said they treated me aggressively and these boys will be born early it's just a matter of when and hopefully I can go a little longer. That's why he did the steroids now to so when they do come they are already prepared.
I was so hungry I begged him to let me eat a cracker! He laughed and said since I'm doing so well he will let me have light meals but the moment I have contractions or bleeding no more food. It felt so good to eat! I had only slept 2hrs in 2 days I was so tired I was to tired I couldn't sleep. Dh layed in bed with me to see if that helped me sleep it did a little. When dh went home (he had to cause we have a dog at home) I decided to take benedryl the doc offered me and I was out like a light , actually slept 6hrs but woke every 2 to pee.
My ob came this morning but I was sleeping so he didn't want to wake me. He will be back later. But I have an ultrasound with my peri doc tomorrow at 11am. My ob said hopefully all this was caused from the end part of the placenta that was covering my cervix. They were hoping it would move or detach( not the whole placenta but the tail piece).
I hope so to cause that would mean the placenta over my cervix is not an issue anymore and it's what caused my contractions. And also tomorrow I will be off all meds and they will monitor me for 24hrs to see if I get contractions if I don't I will most likely be released home on some type of bed rest with meds to keep contractions away.
On a funny note. They check the boys hb's twice a day and at night is the hardest cause they are so active! Baby A was pretty relaxed last night. But it took over an hour to wait for baby B to stop moving long enough to get a good 15 min reading. The cutest part was listening to him when he was having the hiccups lol. At one point he sounded like he was doing construction in there lol. They are quiet during the morning and day we had no problems listening to them this morning.
Update: my ob walked in as I was typing anyway he said the biggest thing for him is to see where the placenta is and so he will know if I had to deliver if it would be vaginal or c-section. He said the goal right now is to get to 30wks. If I do then the next goal is 32wks ect. So after being monitored tomorrow off the meds and depending on what the u/s shows I might be going home tomorrow. I will be on bed rest but moderate bed rest. So I can walk short distances like to the bathroom ect. No lifting more then the weight of a gallon of milk. He said I could go to my shower as long as I sit and do nothing he means absolutely nothing. Honestly me and dh don't care if the house is messy ect. Most important is to keep these boys inside as long as possible. Either my sis will come clean for me and shop for the rest of the baby stuff I need or I will have to do it once the babies are born and in the nicu (which I'm sure they will be) I can get everything ready then. So I'm not gonna stress about anything now. I'm excited to see my boys tomorrow. I will keep you all posted! Love you all!
