she's Back.....fried liver and hold the onions, darn

Feb 15, 2008 05:48PM - 2 comments

well what started out as a minor 1-2 week recovery has now bben put down as an 8 week "stay still" recovery following gall bladder removal. It turns out that my GP arguing with me for years that I didn't have gall bladder disease has cost me.....I did have it the whole time they kept saying I didn't.....

.the surgeon said it was one of the worse GBs he'd seen, rolled his eyes and said he had to cauterize the entire bottom of the liver.to get it off .....so a massive third degree burn to an organ already deformed and undergoing chemo.....ouch, not a good combo.

the good news is the stabbing pain is gone and digestion is better. Now all I need is to get to sleeping again, wait for my fried liver to cool off and my 4 stab wounds (incisions) to settle down... and things will be looking up.

thanks to all who cared about and prayed for me.....this has been the second roughest month of my life.

I appreciate you all very much

merryBe, you have been through so much with TX and what has been a problem from the past has been brought to light by the very thing we have come to hate the most… TX! But the positive side is you have now solved two problem.

Get well and march on the SRV!

yes Jasper....it is positive, AND I got rid of my pituitary disease and diebetes, this year also, again no thanks to my GP....

it's been slow going on this accomplishment, as I only slept 2 nights out of the last 7...and the Riba is getting to me..

BUT there's two more less things going wrong! now!!

It weird to cross yet another disease off my list that I, not my doctor, diagnosed.

Monday I'm going to the Urlogist to see if the egg sized cyst she says is nothing really is nothing.
After five missed diagnosis, one can see why I'm no longer taking her word.

thanks for your well wishing....
how have YOU been doing??
