well what started out as a minor 1-2 week recovery has now bben put down as an 8 week "stay still" recovery following gall bladder removal. It turns out that my GP arguing with me for years that I didn't have gall bladder disease has cost me.....I did have it the whole time they kept saying I didn't.....
.the surgeon said it was one of the worse GBs he'd seen, rolled his eyes and said he had to cauterize the entire bottom of the liver.to get it off .....so a massive third degree burn to an organ already deformed and undergoing chemo.....ouch, not a good combo.
the good news is the stabbing pain is gone and digestion is better. Now all I need is to get to sleeping again, wait for my fried liver to cool off and my 4 stab wounds (incisions) to settle down... and things will be looking up.
thanks to all who cared about and prayed for me.....this has been the second roughest month of my life.
I appreciate you all very much
