surgery

Back pain been real bad all week, but wrist(s) are worse(?) wake me up every night without fail with a stinging, throbbing numbness that is soooo painful( you say it's numb but painful ? huh?) Surgery dec 5th was doing both but now just one at a time , remember to talk to Dr. Sundheimer's office about med refill since increase will mean I'M OUT OVER HOLIDAYS.
To anyone who has been through Carpal Tunnel Syndrome surgery any advise? I've heard from some people but, not sold on if it will make a difference.

I have had both hands done and amazing what I can do with them now. Do NOT have both hands done at the same time because it will disable you and make recover time more difficult. Besides it make it hard to take care of your personal business if you know what I mean.

Yeah that had occurred to me, I scheduled my left for the 5th yesterday, because even though I'm right handed the left hurts much worse and wakes me up every night without fail. I have very significant loss of feeling in both(cuts, scraps and burns on them ) does any of that return following surgery, I've had mixed answers from my Dr's. Also I don't get a lot of help around the house anyhow , my wife is in Nursing school @41 yrs.old and my 20yr old step son still lives at home with us and our youngest who is 13, has better things to do than help DAD.So after thinking about it I figured I 'd better do one at a time
Thats for your thoughts, hope you have a great day and a nice holiday season.
Peace, Tim
