Lucy is doing better every day. Last night she jumped to the window seal.
We received the results from the biopsy of her mamary glands. Good news. Based on the vet, it is too good to be true, but it might be. The result will be sent to the oncologist for her analysis. We may not need to do chemo, but it is not sure yet.
The result's comment is:
"The origin of the cyst may actually be from the mammary tissue due to a blocked gland or duct or possibly a lymphatic. This is a little concern for the cyst as the more important lesion was a small nodule apart from this one that shows the presence of an adenocarcinoma. it may be a resurrence or the previously remove tumor or a novel tumor. The tumor is quite small and focal, shows no evidence of vascular spread and has been completely excised."
And the more important
"Surgical excision is expected to be curative."
Lucy is really playfull today. Truly like before. She is chasing the laser light like she used to. (It's her favorite toy).
