W29 D4 - A Good Phase

It seems I am in a 'good phase'....  

This morning I ran up the stairs at work, which I generally haul myself up by the handrail.  I simply couldn't believe it when I got to the top and realized what I had done.  That is the first time I have gone up the stairs 2 at a time since I started treatment back in May.  Wow!  

I got such a shock that I immediately had to ring the clinic and check on last Friday's blood results as I was convinced my Hb must have gone up!  However, it was lower than last month although my neuts were up from .99 to 1.2.  It never ceases to amaze me that we can have days when it truly feels that we are not on the these hard out drugs, only to find that we can drop to an all time low the next day.  I hope that doesn't happen tomorrow...

Anyway, I believe in making hay while the sun shines so I was supposed to be having a day off tomorrow but as I feel pretty OK I have decided to go to work and save my days off for times when I really can't manage, and to get ahead at work as insurance against such a day.

I must say I am exhausted now and ready to head off to bed.  It makes me laugh when I think about what I consider to be a busy day these days compared to pre tx!!
