Went to the ER today.

Posted my concerns today on this site. Couldn'y take the pain so I went to my local Emergency Room. They did blood work, urine test, and some stomach x-rays, two standing, and two lying down. The gave me a nexium in the meantime. After, they came back (The Doctor), she said, "I am going to give you a prescription for 40mg Nexium for 30 days. But I won't you to see your family doctor within the next two days!" So I got the prescription and called wal-mart to have it filled. But I am still hurting, but, it's not as bad. And the dizziness, well that was from the dehydration from the dirreha. The dirreah..........hmmmm, I didn't know that you got that from acid reflux, even if thats what it is, she did not say exactley. So I went there, the place was packed and I was there for 5 hours, but they took me right back, and I saw people far more sick than I was, so i was ok waiting, heck I was in the best place a person could be in if they were sick. They were awesome and even they they were extremly busy, they kept their smiles and their humour about them. God Bless Each and Everyone of them, cause, it takes a special person to put up with what I saw today.
Hi I have had 'Acid Reflux', for over two years. My doctor put me on a Antibiotic for something and my mom called me about 5 days after I was on the med's and she said how your Stomach and I said, OH MY it has not been hurting or burning. After I finished the med's I told my doctor and he put me on two packages of meds just for Acid Reflux. It was the best thing. It stopped for a long time almost 7 months. Now ones in awhile I get the pain back and burning back. I will talk to my doctor this week to see if I need to take more. Ask your doctor about the medication for 'stomach ulcers', I found out the Acid Reflux is from Bacteria that causes stomach ulcer's. Anyone that has burning, acid reflux really ask your doctor about this medication. It was the best thing I ever did to stop the pain. To have no pain or burning for almost 8 months or 71/2 I had to take the med's for awhile but it'
