I have stage 3 HS as well. I share your sympathy. I hadn't looked it up on this forum before, but I'm having a radical surgery tomorrow and am nervous about it, so I was looking it up on here.

Even though clothes (especially underwear!) haven't been my friends for awhile, I'm nervous about the surgery as well.

I work as an RN in a busy emergency dept for my regular job, but am on maternity leave since having my baby boy 3 weeks ago.

We should keep in touch now that we know what each other is going through!

Yes, definitely - good luck tomorrow, and remember to take care of yourself - surgery is very hard even without a newborn!
