Lean Mean Fighting Machine

Feb 23, 2008 07:57AM - 1 comments

The Lord told me I was a lean mean fighting machine that he had trained to defeat the enemy.  He trains us with his word and waiting on him.   To learn to be a good soldier is not easy.  No training is but the end result is just what he said a lean mean fighting machine.

Lean Mean Fighting Machine,

Wow, you have been through alot and I'm so sorry you have to endure all of this. I haven't gone through near the trials you have but you are a strong person from what I read... I'm just an average person, but I have had my share of illnesses and I wake up fighting depression and fatigue and other stuff. To me, everyday is a waiting game to see what the Lord wants from me. He is constantly calling me (and all of us) to be his servants or fighting machines as you say. And that is done in many ways, only He know those ways and what we are capable of doing for Him and others. We've all got to be Humble and patient and listen not only to Him but to others. There is a message in everything we see and hear and we unwittingly spread the good message in all the good things we do. Like you. You wouldn't be where you are now if He didn't thought you couldn't handle it. I too believe he is training me and I know he won't give me a cross that is too heavy to bear although it does seem too heavy sometimes. The enemy is everywhere but so is the good to balance it out. He loves all of us even when we are having to endure the pain of life... I admit I am not all that good of a person, I have alot of failings but He says along as you try to do right, you can't go wrong. Keep on fighting the good fight! Remember the pain of life is a blessing in disguise. Hope you don't think I am lecturing, I am only trying to reinforce your positve attitude and goodness you have brought into this world. May God bless you and everything you do...
P.S.  Your input does matter and someone out there will benefit from your experience and offer of hope.
