So up until recently aside from bed rest and my trip to L&D this pregnancy has been pretty uneventful. But now this recurring back and rib pain I am getting every night is starting to drive me crazy. Sometimes it comes and goes which makes me think contractions but they are never less than 15 min apart and other times its just constant  but always seems to flare up around the same time at night. I have five more weeks to go (at least) if I don't go on my own and I don't know how much more I can take. I have an OB appt. on tuesday and desperately hoping he can shed some light on this. This morning I woke up with no pain and thought today was going to be different but this time instead of 5:00pm it started flaring up at noon and got much worse and constant at 5. It has moved from my left side to my right now and is slowly creeping down that side of my back. I thought maybe the boys were just in a bad position but they are incredibly quiet and still during these flare ups although I guess they still could be sitting ever so still on a nerve or something. Sometimes I can't take a deep breath and other times I get braxton hicks along with it and my belly feels as though it is getting scratched from the inside. I have started having pain in my lower abdomin at times and my breasts have begun to hurt again. As much as I want them to stay in there the more nights like these I just want to get them out. It is so frustrating being pregnant sometimes - its is such an amazing blessing that I truly do not want to be complaining but I am really in pain now not just uncomfortable - its painful! I never had any of this with my son but since he was a singleton pregnancy I have absolutely nothing to compare it with and that drives me nuts to. The weather is awful so I am not about to start making calls that might result in an unessecary trip to the hospital tonight but I really don't know how much more I can take.
