Skin

Hey, I'm a 20 year old girl, and I've been having weird skin problems for the past 5-6 years.

About 5 or 6 years ago, I was walking about in my bare feet when I noticed it felt like a was constantly walking on a small pebble on the ball of my foot, but there was nothing on my foot. It was gone by the next day's morning, but by evening it was back. It continued on like this for a year or 2, it wasn't so bad. But until about 3 years ago it got 10 times worse and it's still freakishly bad.

Not only would these odd bumps would appear on my feet when walking in bare feet(ball, arch, heel), but they'd also appear on my elbows, and hands(fingers, knuckles, palms). Whenever I applied excessive pressure on them, or I brushed/rubbed/scaped against something my skin would break out in multiple red/white painfully welt/bump/lumps and they stay for about 2 - 3 days and then they're gone.

I don't know if my skin has become hyper senstive over the past half decade, but it's distressing because no doctor will take more than a glance after I tell them they disppear after a few days. And no one refers me to a dermetologist. And the worst part is that they appear EVERYDAY, it's embarressing. No other family member has this issue, and I get comments from friends and family. It's already bad enough that I can "skin write" this makes things worse.

I can't go about in my bare feet anymore because I get huge swollen painful lumps on the bottom of my feet. I'm fine on carpets, but as soon as I get on tiles, wood, or concrete for a long period of time, my feet can swell to the point wear I can barely stand to walk with or without shoes. And it looks weird when I try tip-toe, or walk softly everywhere in bare feet.

There's a SLIGHT silver lining I guess... in the past 5-6 years ALL of my calluses on my person have gone away and my skin in smooth... until my lumpy, bumpy, welts appear.

Can ANYONE relate? Or maybe tell me what MIGHT be happening? People have told me once or twice that maybe it's eczema, but I know it's not because my Opa had it, and a good few of my friends suffer from that, my symptoms don't match theirs. Help??
