Today's ET was so surreal. I'm still in awe of it all!
We arrived at 5:30 am and got started at 6 am. Took my valium st 4:30 am so it would take effect. We were able to view the embryos through the microscope, it was amazing! We were then givin a pic of the embies (see attached pic) The top left embryo is the golden one! The doc instructed I have a full bladder but mine was a lil too full causing lots of pressure on my ovaries. So I had to release a lil urine. But the nurse said it was perfect. So since my ovaries were hurting so bad, I took my 2nd valium. Shortly thereafter my RE began the process of the transfer. It was amazing because Steve n I were able to see the whole thing on the u/s screen :) My RE transferred all 4 embryos because he said it wouldn't hurt since the 3 hadn't divided much. We had one strong egg at 16 cell that is the one we are hoping sticks. 10 minutes after it was done I was able to urinate n then lay back down. I must have dosed off for almost an hour lol. But I felt great! The nurse then discharged us n we were on our way :) doctors orders were to be put on bed rest for the next few days, so no work.
I just have to say that I am feeling more at ease than ever before. I'm so grateful to have made it this far considering I have such low reserve. This is a true blessing to have experienced n I'm hoping for a BFP so that I can help encourage everyone else! The prayers n faith of everyone else has made a huge difference n has brought me peace. My Birthday is this Sat, July 21st, so I'm praying for a birthday present this month! Until then, I rest ;)
I will continue my PIO shots n estrace pills and I go back next Wed for blood work. Then I go back on 8-2-12 for my first beta :) here's to the 2ww!

I'm glad your ET went well. Now is time to rest and let those embies stick. I know it's up to the doctor but I was on bed rest for three days after my transfer, could not even shower and I think that helped. I'll keep you in my prayers, stick embies stick!!!

So happy your transfer went great. Rest is what you need, not hot showers or baths (at all in TWw). So cool that you got to look at embies and watch the whole thing. Remember stay positive and rest. I'll be praying for a fast TWW and great betas. Keep us posted. :)

I always find the pictures amazing, just thinking about how the cells become a little person. Good luck, praying that you get your big fat positive.

I am doing nothing but resting right now ;) Its been a lil difficult because I am not use to laying in bed so much but I am for the sake of these lil embies inside me :) I appreciate your prayers so much because prayers is what has gotten me this far with everything and I know it goes a very long way! Yay! SO exciting to read this update and I am praying for you girl -- and not just because if you have a little girl you're going to name her after me!!! :) Well, I know you're not naming it after ME but you know what I mean... I hope you are able to sleep well the next few days and that the anxiety keeps at bay but I remember how nervous I was after my IUI procedure! August 2nd is my favorite aunt's birthday so I will be thinking of you and hoping that July 2012 is the beginning of a 40 week wait!!!

Your "golden egg" looks like it had "hatched," in the picture. It is a beautiful and healthy looking embie. This embie was perfect for transferring and implanting. I hope and pray that this transfer will be the one that gives you, your long awaited BFP. Keeping my fingers crossed for all the embies, of course. The golden embie though, looks like the one that will be your BFP baby. I am not going to count the other embies out though. I am one that believes in miracle's. Only God knows the answer...and soon you will know.

I hope your test goes well tomorrow. I had 2 d3FET on July 21st and need to go in for my test on 8/3. The wait is killing me! Starting to spot a little but I am trying to remain "cautiously optimistic". Best of luck to you!!
