Coughing and hurting chest

Can you please try and help me. I am living in Taiwan and I am now sick since the beginning of January 2008. I have seen a docter 3 times already but because of a lack of language ( understanding ) they can't tell me what's wrong and their medicine doesn't work either. I am coughing intensly and my chest is almost always hurting. It starts with a pricking sensation in my throat and then the coughing starts. It is so intense that I sometimes throw up because of it. Cough syrup has little effect. They gave me the following drugs: Benzonatate cap/ Bensau 100mg/cap.
                                                                                            Afuco (Exsol) 100mg/cap Oxolamine cap
                                                                                            Budesonide 200ug  -Duasma MDI200mcg/ds
but the coughing goes on.
