Blood clots

Tonight is another night of raging pain in my head.  I was diagnosed with migranse when I was 12 so I know this isn't a migrane, and have taken everything OTC that I can think of.  I thought that it was just an ear infection but my ear doesn't actually hurt.  The pain is so intense that I want to vomit and I probably could if I could eat.  The pain starts at the outside corner of my right eye and ends about an inch above my temple.  It feels like someone is taking a meat cleaver and pressing it to my brain.  The pain subsides for a few minutes and then returns stronger than before and then will disappear altogether for maybe an hour and then "BAM" its back again.  I am worried about this as I have a history of blood clots (5 PE's) and on Wednesday and Thursday of lastweek had the same pain in my right forearm, and then it was just gone.  The pain in my head started on Friday night.  I think I will probably be going to the emergency room tonight as I really can't take this pain anymore, I feel like I am trapped in a bad movie and can't get out.
