Embryo Transfer

We went ahead and did the transfer today.  We still had the 11 embryos, 9 were at the correct cell count for day 3.  Only 2 of the 9 were HLA-G marker positive and those had a perfect score so we went ahead and put those back today.  The other 7 are going to continue to grow until Wednesday and then we will freeze the ones the make it and look good.  So now bedrest for today and tomorrow.  Although at this point the statisitics mean nothing to me, the Dr said we have a 50-70% chance of success with at least a 30% chance of twins.  I would be happy with just one healthy baby at this point.  Come on little ones and stick!!!

Best of luck! I am waiting for a BFP too. I had my ET on the 25th Feb so I test on 10th Mar. SSSSSBD to us ^_^.

congrats on great embie numbers!!! im so happy for you. so u put back 2 day three embies. very nice. whats hla-g mean? by what u wrote i assume its good. im home with a bad cold. since monday so im just getting on now to check on u. (((((((((((((belly rubbing))))))))))))) coming at ya!! and all the SSBD in the world because u deserve it. BFP! BFP! thats going to be my cheer until u test. are u going to wait for beta or do one at home. i cant want for the results. :)

HLA-G (human leukocyte antigen-G) is a compound that some embryos secrete into the media while they are growing.  SIRM has found higher implantation rates with embryos that secrete it, so we went ahead and tested for it.  There are still a lot of pregnancies without it, but anything that has even the slightest possibility to increase the outcome was worth it to us.  I am not sure if I am going to do an hpt.  My first beta is on Tuesday 3/11, which would be 11dpo, so that seems a little early for an accurate hpt result anyway.  I think I'll just wait for the beta.  The Dr. warned me that even 3/11 could be too early for the beta so he has a second beta scheduled for 3/13.  He likes to know early so he tests early.  I will post as soon as he calls.

im feeling a little better little girl is doing fine still kicking up a storm. i got a + 10 days past 3 day transfer on hpt so its not to early. im going to be going crazy till tuesday!!! how are u feeling? thats very intresting about the hla-g thing. never knew that.  talk to you soon. :)

Even if I test on the same day as the beta it is only 8 days past a 3dt.  I just don't want to see the negative.  Although waiting for the call will be just as torturous.  I am feeling good, just still a little sore.

Thanks Ladies for cheering me on.  You are all my keepers of hope and optimism.

Your numbers sound awesome!  I am definitely praying for you and you know that saying, good things come to those who wait????  Well...  something good has to be on it's way b/c we have been waiting for way too long.  You will have the cutest and smartest well behaved children; the good things!  Not that children are things, but you get the point!  Let me know if there is anything I can do when you are back.  Maybe to get your mind off of EPTs.  Movie?
