Totally Unexpected

Got a text message from my boyfriend today! I was planning on sending him a text message tomorrow for our anniversary but this took me by surprise, I was so excited. He told me that he has finally moved to the center and that he's very happy about it. He has his own place with plenty of privacy unlike the hospital, I didn't know they had that in free centers!! I was very happy for him. He also told me that there are two war veterans of his age at the center, which is great now he has people to share stories with :) He gets to see his family too which always helps with recovery.

Then he asked me about how things were going and whether my parents/friends were trying to fix me up with other guys??? I thought it was strange of him to ask me this. Is he remembering things? Did he expect me to leave him for another man because he was sick? I told him that my family and friends can't be blamed for trying because they want what's best for me, but of course no one can force me to do anything. I also mentioned to him that tomorrow would be our third anniversary, but didn't get a reply after that. It's ok, I'm just happy that he sent me a text message first for a change! It's probably not much but definitely worth celebrating!
