Waiting for the MRIs

While I was sitting in the waiting room for an MRI yesterday, I found myself staring down the hallway and noticed that while looking at a door frame, it looked like I was looking at it through heat, meaning it was wavy.  Looking down at the floor, the design in the carpet seemed to "shimmer".  

I had a brain MRI with and without contrast and a cervical spine MRI with and without contrast.  My first series of MRIs and soooo strange.  It actually felt like I could feel certain waves of the machine.
