Blood Pressure

i weigh myself today and i weighted 207ibs. i have lost 4 pounds. i drinking alot of water and exercise more.i really need to lose the weight because of my blood pressure is so high. this morning it was 166/106. and that very high and my heart beat was 68.

Well done on losing some weight.  I am sure the more you lose the better your blood pressure will become.

I came across an interesting article (somewhere on the net) that said that one of the ways to help lower blood pressure is to try and regulate your breathing down to about 10-15 breaths per minute for 15 minutes a day.  The easiest way to do this is to breathe in to the count of 4, hold your breath for 2 seconds and then breathe out to the count of 4 and hold it for two seconds.

Give it a try - you have nothing to lose and everything to gain - if nothing else for 15 minutes a day you will really relax.

There is also a machine out there that helps you to do this, but it costs about £200 (UK)  If I can find the link I will let you know
