I decided to do a little bit of exercise while watching TV. It's a start. Of course I need to do more, but at least I got my body moving.
I went into the kitchen because, for a change, I felt the tiniest bit hungry (I usually don't, believe it or not!).
This is what I saw:
Recees Peanut Butter Cups, Hershey Bars, Chocolate Chip Cookies (the Enormous Bakery kind!), at least 6 kinds of potato chips, and the cake my daughter baked last night. I know there's more in the fridge and the cabinets, too.
Now, before you think I bought all this...I didn't. I don't drive, nor do I go food shopping. This is my partner's doing. She loves food. Yup.
But, she's not holding a gun to my head. It's hard. Because I love sweets.
I walked away from all of it. Go me, right? For now, I guess. I did take a Diet Pepsi. Yeah, diet sodas are not fantastic. What I will eat later, I don't know...
