Last night was really rough. I have RLS. (Restless Leg Syndrome) That was the only hard part. I did not take anything to help me sleep. I was in and out of a hot bath all night and wore my compression stockings. They help a little but they do not help enough to sleep. I have a runny nose and I am achy. That is something I can tolerate though. I just need to get past the crawly legs and feet.

There is a great supplement at walmart/target -- call restful legs... i think its for menopausal women. I took it - LOL - and you know what, it worked!

Thank you. I will go get some and try it. If I can get past that, I think I will be fine.

Bananas will help (the potassium) - tonic water with quining also helps.  But bananas worked the best for me.  Just have one before you go to bed and it should help relieve that symptom.

I have some bananas. I will try that and if it doesn't work for me, I will go get the "restful legs." Thank you so much for the input!

Hi Jennifer, welcome to day 2! I also had RLS, but not as bad as some. I took the Hylands Restful Legs, and it did help! You can find it at Walmart in the supplement aisle! Bananas are great, plus you are getting food in you! I also ate yogurt and took a potassium supplement! Some people say to put a heavy blanket over your legs, and if it gets really bad, try sleeping in a recliner. There's lots of things to try! Good luck! You are doing great!

Thank you!  I am a vegan. I am going to have to stock up on some potassium rich foods.

I am not familiar with Vegan, does that mean you don't eat yogurt? I get confused between Vegan and Vegetarian. I've been seriously thinking about going Vegan! I've eaten some Vegan cupcakes, and they were really good!! LOL!

Vegetarians eat animal products such as milk, butter, etc. Vegans do not eat or wear anything from an animal. I am working to raw foods only. I have to do  it gradually though.  :)
