I posted this but decided to have it in my journals too.
I decided after being clean for 97 days that I will flush the pills in my cupboard. I was never tempted to use them even though I knew they were there. When I made up my mind to get clean, I made an irrevocable decision to not use.
I write about the pills today to help others know they can do this too. Many of you will have to go through getting clean with drugs around you or easily obtainable. Don't use that as an excuse to take them! In my case, even with my drugs gone, my wife has percocet for an injury from a semi-truck flipping and then wiping her off the road. Pills are poison to an addict. You really need to set your mind against ever using them.
So here is to Happy Fish!

wow, i could never get clean with pills in my cupboard, sure you're and addict? hehehe just kidding. anyway, that is great. im proud of you. you are a very strong individual. your happy fish poem made me cry. day three for me. keep me in your prayers. cp

Yeahhhhhhhhhh for you!!!!! congrads now I have a question How did you do it? My husband has been taking pills for so long that I think I would break down and cry (tears of joy) if he ever did that. Thats a big step in the right direction and it takes a lot to do something like that but YOU DID IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AWESOME KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!
The poem is great!! I'm so proud of you for staying clean and I love your attitude about how you're remaining clean. Glad to hear you flushed the pills, but honestly I don't know how you did it with them sitting in your cupboard. I know I don't have enough willpower to do that, not yet anyway. Congradulations!!! hey happy fish im joining u soon ! im tapering but had to have them 4 my bildging disc impinged nerve but gonna flush soon yes i can and am !!!!!!!!!! i told my pharmacist yesterday he was so happy cause he is a great man (christian) and prayin 4 me ! Jesus b w him n his family ! n urs fish

poem was good in front of my face im a dip early in morning without coffee! I wrote several poems in germany some r very sad but true !
