TMI but I'm WORRIED....

Every since starting my thyroid medication,I been eating but every time I eat,I have to poop.What can be the cause of this.My body is never really hungray and I have to force myself to eat and when I do eat,I eat to much but I barey eat.I hope nothing is wrong with me...I brought my slim fast stuff to start my diet,but it really isn't a point to start that since I can barely eat now.Anyone else had this problem??

I think you're body is trying to adjust and regulate. Having a low thyroid can wreak havoc on our system including stopping you up with constipation. Maybe your body is going through a reversal of sorts... kind of a cleansing. The appetite thing is definitely a symptom of your thyroid waking up. Overall, I'd say these are probably good yet annoying symptoms that will even out eventually.
It usually takes 3-6 months to get the right dosage of meds too. Generally you will need to go up one more time. Good luck and take advantage of the appetite thing! It wont last lol.

Also, be sure to take meds 1st thing in the morning and do not eat for an hour if possible, 1/2 hour minimum!!

Ok thanks Moma,my Dr. told me to take my meds at night because it moves better throught the system at night.I have an problem.I'm so stressed out about weight loss.I just spent over 100 dollars on slimfast to only find out I cant take it because of the soy.Im starting to get kind of angry because of my weight.Dont matter what I do,I still cant lose weight.Do you have any ideas to losing weight?

Wrong person to ask lol. I'm in the same boat as you and frustrated as H E L L!! Can't seem to do anything but put on weight no matter what I do :(
I guess just really eating protein and veggies/fruit first and small amount of carbs is the best bet. Exercise is key which I am the first to admit is my achilles heel. I got a recumbent bike/elliptical hybrid and used it for 10 days straight... gained 5 lbs lol FML!!!!!

All I can do is encourage you to not give up. consistency is key... results will follow if we persist.

Lol I been on the internet all day, i looked everywhere.I have tried eating right exercising right and everything...Im still fat :(( Hopefully we will find something that works and maybe we can sure it with each other!!

I'm actually looking into something called eating right for your blood type... It's a sort of life diet that is different for everyone based on your blood type. I'm type B so I'm supposed to stay away from chicken which I love so it's kinda hard. I'll let you know if I get any good results!
