thick mucuous after I eat

I have been reading all these postings and cannot believe so many people are suffering from this and all doctors can do is say - "here try this - if it doeasnt work - try this or may be both together." They so often fail to even care any more. Never seem to seek alternative therapies...I have had this problem forever - like 17 years or so and I was told everything from I was allergic to dairy - or maybe just chocolate - or maybe chocolate and milk together trigger this reaction until I realized Orange juice does it - sodas do it - diet sodas do it...So it cant be just one thing, right? I have taken Rhinocort, Nasacort, Nasonex, Flo-nase, albuterol inlaler, Xopenex inhaler, Allegra, Zyrtec, allegra- D, Clairitin, Clarinex, Mucofin, Mucofin-D, Mucinex, Mucinex-D, Expectorant store brands etc.etc.....And the whole acid-reflux thing, thats just a shot in the dark. I have had that and it is nothing even close.

Nothing worked. I have recently been readin up on Aurveda. Indian medicine. I dont know much yet - but they seem to be on the right track. I am going to read a little more before I seek a practicioner. It seem there are 3 body types according to different characteristics. These 3 Kappa, Pita and Vata I believe have different things that is specific to each body type. As to which foods you should eat and what to avoid in order for your body type to be "healthy" or "aligned" or whatever term they use. It is very interesting though.

From what I have read, with my classification, all the foods they say to avoid are all the ones that cause this mucous.
I dont have any further info yet but I am going to continue my studies. There has got to be something out there to help this embarrassing symptom to whatever the cause. My friends even are like - ooooh thats gross sometimes but damn, I cant help it. I know they are just trying to be helpful in not wanting me to go all around public hacking at 32 yrs old. I just wanted to share my journey with you and maybe save you some steps and some money ion doc. bills and co-pays. Now, Im not saying yours is not an allergy. I am just saying what I have found. They have "put me on" almost everything they can think of. The only thing that helped at all was the inhalers. They at least made it easier to 'hack up that stuff.

Good luck - I mean it. If you find out anything, please let me know. Thx. and have a happy day.
