Why is that as kids we were totally mind-set on doing the right thing till the day we died. Well we really didn't know about death but we did see our parents, grandparent, aunts, uncles and even the parents of your friends. Let's face it most of them are in the same position you are because you have inevitably surrounded yourself by this crowd. Somewhere along the line of growing up our idea of fun has gotten way out of control and there is no turning back, huh what fun? Its as if hopes and drams somehow lost the motivation to pursue. The feeling of ecstasy has overtaken all ambition and when put that way is normal for a human being. To feel good and not worry about thing that are unpleasant to think about. We have to learn how to make the most of life, and just be high on your own real being. it truly is a war to be faught. And every now and then i do win battles for a couple weeks at a time, That proves to myself that it can be done, I just don't understand why I cant keep the strength of sobriety forever. Like I said it is a war....no its a holocaust in my own world. Time to kick the habit.
