a second reaccurance

Hi Michelle,
I'm new here and kinda stumbled on to the site.  What type of thy ca do you have and how long have you had it?  I have pap. thy ca that had spread to my lymphs and found out about 6 months ago. How many RAIs have you done?  I'm so affraid of reaccurance.  i can't imagine going through it all over again.  I had a 2nd biopsy done on a new mass about 2 weeks ago and thank God it was neg.  I'm starting my low iodine diet next Monday for 2 weeks then do my thyrogen shots for my scan on the 4th of April.  Did you have all your thyroid removed?  If so, where is your reaccurance?  Please keep me posted on your situation.  I know it's hard.  ONE DAY AT A TIME.

to tracy 4 hey michelle here i had a second reaccurance just after my right side got taken out i didnt get it all taken out at once and just had my left side out 3 weeks ago they found the second reaccurance there can u tell me i now have a sore neck my left side it aches around my lymph nodes what couls it be but they finally got rid of all thyroid well what ever the surgeon took out. i have rai hopefully soon how long was u away from u family like husband kids. yes ill keep u posted.i know its hard my friend told me to hang in there. this neck pain is really sore.

Hang in there Michelle.   Yeah, recurrences are no fun but at least you got the rest of your thyroid out and are looking at RAI.   Hang in there my dear friend.    **HUGS**

to utahmomma yeah ill hang in there my friend your right they got it all out thank goodness apart from scar or lymph problems i know im trying to be strong as i can  hugs to u also
