Update

Today I had the longest text conversation with my boyfriend that I could ever remember since he got his cell phone back!! He told me that he was happy about leaving the hospital and that has started doing some work again, he is now giving lectures twice a week, I couldn't be happier for him. This would certainly help in improving his memory.

He said that on a physical level he was doing very well and has regained most of his health back, mentally however he was still having some problems. He remembered meeting me and our trip together in the summer of 2006. He also remembered some of the places he had been too and the things he'd seen, but he knew that there was a possibility he might never regain his full memory back, he was concerned about us, he wanted to remember how it felt to be intimate with me..I told him that I had hope his memory would return but it would take time.. He then sent me a recent picture of himself!! I was so surprised I didn't expect him to actually do that so soon! He then asked me to send pictures of myself if I ever felt like it..As if he needed to ask!! I asked him if it was ok for me to visit him soon, he told me that it was a good idea but still needed time as he didn't think he was ready yet..Fair enough I can understand that.

He also said that he was trying to remember his feelings for me and that I was the only girl he remembered but couldn't remember everything. I felt bad and told him that I'd try to be more understanding and help him.

What a great start to my day this was!
