I have been living with Marfans for 52 years. It's been a struggle. I've had 6 major spine surgies. They've left me with chronic pain. Three years ago I had a morphine pump implanted. With that I still take oral pain meds. Have lost one eye due to the retina hemmoraing and tearing 42 years ago. I moved to Fl. 5 years ago because my body could no longer handle the cold. Would like to meet and make friends. So many can't understand what I'm going through. I know they mean well. But they can't live in my shoes. Anyone out there who knows what I am going through?
