re:today ADD and adderall

I started on Adderrall 3 days ago, not XR, just regular 15 mg tablets.  It is working in terms of Concentration, overall more Energy, less Depression, slightly more happy, at times a little short-tempered; But it IS ONLY day 3.  I hope it works...I need some hope, bad.  A suffer from Severe (debilitating) Depression; (i am 33 and have had it(depression) On and Off since then...Hospitalised 2x even though I have a lot to live for (see info about me)  It(Depression) Does Not discriminate. Currently on 225 mg of Effexor/day...15mg of Adderall/day - just started - also on 3 mg of Klonopin/day; Suboxone 1 tab/day under tongue...and Aleve or Ibruprofen or any OTC pain-reliever due to my Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Fibromyalgia pain, and Because the Adderall is giving me Bad Headaches; I so suffer from Migraines and Headaches, but these Headaches are different. More persistent and Noticeable,,,not sure if that makes sense.  But the Adderall is Giving me Hope and I feel a bit better since starting aside from the Headaches, Mood is better, slightly increased Energy, Good Concentration and getting some of my memory back. Things dont seem so Overwhelming last 3 days...any Positive Help or Suggestions Greatly Appreciated....thank you!

This is my second day detoxing from months on Adderall XR -40mg.  I was a pro athlete, still compete on a different level and suffered from many of the symptoms you describe, although everyone's exp. is their own. Getting off this stuff is physically painful and that was has to happen eventually. After a while your Dr. will keep bumping up the doses, mixing other meds for the right cocktail ..... then you suffer from addiction. So, my advice, is embrace the pain. Feel the pain. Read Eckhart Tolle's, "A New Earth". It's changed my life. You are educated, an athlete, so certainly on some conscious level you must know that what you are doing cannot possibly help your body. The meds that you are taking simply mask the underlying problem. I have three children - two of them were on adderall, also. I bet anything that adderall will eventually be banned, as the number of reported deaths climb and pharme. co. will come with an alternative drug. It's sickening. So I'm juicing carrot and beet, no alcohol, caffeine, .... and I'm hurting on every level, but it beats taking meds. I feel as though I'm living in truth for the first time. Hi ther I saw your comment and I wanted to let you know there is a new drug I was just put on called Yvyanse, I can't pronounce it but it's for adult ADD. I take it along with a nood stabelizer for treatment resistant depression. So far so good and I think the cost is the same as Adderall. Just a suggestion.
