You are the best. I could train for a marathon and maybe I will. Do you have a good source to start? I am not sure where I would go to get started. Are you a natural runner? I am in pretty good shape for my age, but not a comfortable runner. Plus, I spent so many days walking/running on a treadmill every day, that my hips are shot.
Quilting, huh? Ya just never know. I have made a few, but I did not think it was too fun.
I did get my college transcript tonight, and since SDscientist has inspired me, i am thinking about going back to school. Not sure.
I appreciate your comments. I will check back on the marathon info...THANKS!

Hal Higdon's novice marathon training program looks like a good program to start http://www.halhigdon.com/marathon/novices.html and the time commitment isn't toooo much, considering. I have always liked running, but was never very consistent. A guy I work with started coaching me, and he very slyly inched me along until I was training for a martahon, to my surprise, lol. I'm lucky I have him to work with, and running along the Chicago lakefront can't be beat. It is very hard on your body though.
Going back to school sounds like a great idea! Nice to be at a point in life where you can pick and choose to study what interests YOU.
I'm doing well-I haven't started injections for IVF yet, so I'm enjoying my life, running, having some wine...

Hey Sue-
Thanks for the site. I have only glanced at it, so I will let you know if I venture in.
We are going to Chitown for the weekend. We get in late Friday and are eating at Signature Room late. My DH (who I cant stand right now) is a steak man and I am not a foody at all, and we are looking for reservations for Sat night. Trotters is booked out 7 weeks (EGADS). I have never eaten at Lawrys. We are staying at the Soffitel, so close to Hancock. Any good reviews from down there for me? I would like to stay fairly close on Sat night since my wine consumption goes up in chicago. Thought you may have a fave we have not tried. Noisy would be good so I dont have to talk to him! LOL!
I ran on the treadmill at the gym yesterday and thought of you. I am so out of shape. When my daughter lost her baby last christmas, I fell apart along w/ her and did not work out for six months. I am back at it slowly, but at my age I am struggling. My buns are so sore today (YEAH!) I can hardly sit here.
What do you do in Chi M thru F? When do injectables start (oh brave 1)!
Enjoy some wine for me.
Thanks
Lori

Okay...maybe some folks think this is for old folks but not me....
I LOVE gardening! I have a 14 month DD now, so I don't have the luxury of spending much time in my own (although I design for others)It is great to be out in nature, watch things grow, have neighbors comment how beautiful your yard looks, etc. I did it even in my apartment..(Container gardening). I was brought up "in the woods" so to speak, so I guess I have a natural tendency to love being outside.. The fresh air will do you good plus you can burn some serious calories depending on how much work you want to do.
