So...I went to the hospital Wednesday, March 19, 2008 for the Hida Scan tests with Cck injections. I so did not like this one. The radioactive material they gave me made me sooooooooooooooooo Nasease and my stomach hurt really bad! I was at the hospital for 3 hours and it was very exhausting!I was also extremly sick all day and night long after the test! They said it was due to the medicine making your gallbladder's muscles contract! I also found out that if you do hurt during the tests...this does not mean your gallbladder is the culprit...it is normal to hurt like this! I do not have the results back yet....but I am praying just maybe it is my gallbladder, however I am soooooooooooooo not getting my hopes up! I go back into the hospital this comming monday March 24, 2008 for a stomach emptying tests.....I am just praying this one does not hurt as bad...well see!

hi there i also had a hida test done on march19 2008 .i am waiting the results also. i have suffered with stomach issues for many years .i also am hoping its the gallbladder cause im tired of these weird nasty attacks i have.monday march 24 i go to a GI specialist. im not sure what they will want to do .my bloodtests were fine and they found no stones with the ultrasound.im taking nexium and phenergan. the dr said i had gerd back in 2001 so im not sure whats going on i have lots of pains and discomfort on my left side upper abdomanal area and in my back and sholder and that hida scan test hurt pretty bad i felt bad yesterday i kinda wonder if it was that test. maybe we can keep in touch and find out our problems together since we have been tested on the same days. goodluck and take care.
