I am trying to get some answers to help me understand what is going on whilst waiting for the surgeons appointment.
I have been on crutches for 4 months now and this is the conclusion of my MRI i have no idea what it means, can anyone help me please.
The anterior horn of the medial meniscus is absent, but the cause of this is not apparent as no flipped or displaced fragment is identified. There is some cartilage softening and oedema in the lateral patellar facet, and sprained or partial tear of the medial patellofemoral ligament.
This injury is a result of me being pushed down some stairs landing on concrete on my knee.

According your mri result, you need take a convalesce first, let the oedema gruting dissolve away, then by the take reference the recovery condition, proing next step treatment, after all, meniscus tear surgery should have a think over.
