Week Three

Mar 22, 2008 01:55PM - 1 comments

I still have spots and now I have scaly lips and red cheeks too. My boss calls me into her office. Her name is Evelyn, but in my mind I call her Evil Lyn. She asks me what is wrong with my face and I tell her I'm taking roaccutane. She puts her hands on her hips and says "Healthy people do not get acne, Eloise. Stay at home until you look better."
Evil Lyn should not have been made a matron. I leave her office before the tears well up. One day I will be so beautiful and confident that no-one will talk to me like that.
My mum has bought me a special unbreakable money pot. You put coins in the slot, but there's no hole at the bottom to get them out. When the pot is full you smash it open and make a wish. She tells me to put a pound coin in every day while I'm on Roaccutane. Then when it's over I can buy myself something nice.

Evil Lyn should be careful of karma.....How very rude of her! And healthy people DO get acne. She should really do some reading so she doesn't sound so ignorant! I bet she doesn't like people in wheelchairs either. You have to feel kind of sorry for someone that is that ignorant and afraid of differences.
What are you thinking you will buy yourself when your pot is full?
Don't worry too much about what she said. It's what you think of yourself that is important and that counts. And by the way you were talking, it sounds like you already are confident!
Best of all to you!
Shelly
