My weight has fluctuated quite a bit over the years. Mostly due to the assortment of medications I have been prescribed for my Bipolar II disorder. Some years I was rail thin, while other times I was pushing a size 12 or 14.

I’m at a place now where I believe I can finally keep my weight stable. I now frequent the gym, and I no longer let my cravings get the best of me.

Throughout the next several months, I will be taking on the challenge of losing the weight once and for all. No more yo-yo dieting for me. This time it’s a lifestyle change made up of exercise and nutritious meals.

My Reasons

First and foremost, I’m losing the weight to be healthy. The weight I’m currently at is not good for me and I want to change it so I am fit and in shape. I also want to be able to look in the mirror and be happy with what I see as well as fit into my old clothes once again.
