Yeah, but This is also a time 2 rejoice!!! It might sound crazy but this is just a reminder that Gods word is still 2 true 2 this day!!! Not only that Jesus has assured us that if we confess with out mouths that he is saviour! We will be saved catwoman! Not only that he will delivers us when this system does take place! So don't worry Sis God knows what he is doing! But this must take it's course! The 4 horses have saddled up & they are making there way!!! It's already started, Bold. It started when Europe combined their money to one currency. When they did that and I saw how quickly it could be done it gave me shivers because I thought "This is prophecy being fulfilled! The Bible said this would happen!"
If you really want a a good eye opener read "Storming Towards Armageddon, Essays in Apocolypse" by Texe Marrs, Tim LaHaye, David Breese and David A. Lewis. You won't be able to put this book down! It might be hard to find because it's an older book but I think you can find it on Amazon or Ebay. Even though it's an older book it's so right on. It shows how the prophecies from the Bible relate to us today and how we are seeing them being fulfilled right before our eyes if we but pay attention.
We are living in exciting times! Jesus could return in our own lifetime, we just don't know.

Well I live in Europe and if we didn't have the Euro and a European Central Bank with this financial crisis, entire countries would be bankrupted, but that is just IMHO.

Yes, but it was prophesied in the Bible. Yes, it will all look good. The anti-christ will come along and offer world peace and people will gobble it up. It will all seem good. He will be charming, charismatic, etc. But it's a false peace. Many will follow after him and worship him. We must be very careful that the only one we worship is God himself. The anti-christ will require all to receive his mark in order to buy and sell. We must not do it! Once we do it, we belong to him and he is from the evil one, the enemy of God, Satan himself. Think of Hitler and that will give you a small idea of how powerful this man will get and how blindly people will follow after him.

hello all. the world is ripe for such events, and now things are in place such as the army spoken of in the description of the 6th. trumpet, that have never existed in recorded history. the technology is also in place for other fulfillment such as biometric identity authentication and global real time audio/video distribution. and the infiltration of the lawless one into the centers of power from the white house to nato to the eu to the g20 is already becoming apparent. one of the most profound results of the present financial crises and the takeover of major corporations by the federal government that are occurring as i type, is the forced dependence of the american people upon the decisions in d.c. we are being given a savior whether we want it or not. things get bad enough, and yes, it will be difficult to function in a society such as this without allegiance to those who have the power. the proverbial rubber, i am afraid, is about to hit the road. and our dependence will have to be on either an eternal or a temporal power. there's not going to be much of a gray  area on this.

I was just speaking with a friend about all this last night.  It is time to have complete faith!!!  The world is going crazy and it's true the signs are there and so it's time to stand for what we believe.  I do believe that someday we will have to stand up for our belief in Jesus Christ and his love and sacrifices for all of us!  His atonement makes all things possible.  I hope and pray that he gives me strength to stay strong and stand by him no matter what the cost!  Sometimes we forget that we are only here because of his love and are nothing without him!  

We are living in such scary times, but have faith and be strong!  Be sure to pray for his strength and he will give it freely!!!  He already does even when we don't realize it!

IMHO one world currency is a good thing.  It might be the first step to a unified Mother Earth and MAYBE and end to all the conflict and more of a global focus on what is really important - like sustaining our planet.  I don't think the Almighty likes seeing all this fighting.

And this 2 shall pass!!! Heaven n Earth will pass away but my word shall not return void!!!!

I think it is a wonderful, and beautiful thing that's happening to our world. Its really like they're reading the "How to Bring on Christ's Second Coming for Dummies." But with the world becoming more and more evil, it really is beautiful because this means that our time is coming. Remember, He says that He will come like a thief in the night to take His people. Brothers and sisters, be careful with researching whats going on in this world and whats really behind the scenes because if you let your self get too into it you might be led astray, or become fearful for when you fear you open yourself to evil and the works of Satan. This happened to me, i started getting really into it and the next thing i knew i was depressed and heart broken for this world and the way it has been going, then i started to realize that it was taking away from my relationship with our Father. It's been a couple of months now since i have stopped and my relationship with Him couldnt be better and i couldnt be happier. Just a loving word of advice, remember that when all of these truly evil things happen, we will already be in His presence and worshiping Him!!!!!!! God Bless!

Amen! I agree we can't let this depress us becouse we could fall! But @ the same time it's not all about being depressed! It's about spreading Gods word 2 others! It's the love that we have 4 all of Gods people! & he has commanded us 2 win souls n2 the kingdom of heaven b4 his return! True born-again christians will not have to worry about choosing the mark or not.  We will be raptured away.  The way things are going in this country and around the world - the economy, the currency, the fighting, famines, pestilences, natural disasters, immorality, hatred of all things good, love of all things evil, disrespect to God, parents and fellow human beings - all these things are present today.  We are close.  I'm looking up everyday!  The bible gives many, many signs to look for before Jesus returns (which we are seeing today), but don't forget the rapture happens 7 years before he returns.  So, if we're seeing signs for his return already, the transformation of believers can happen any minute.   Now.  Ok, now.  Ok, now.  lol

I personally believe that it doesn't matter what religion we belong too - it's do we believe in the Gospel - do we believe in our Savior.  Do we believe that he really exists and still lives for us!??!!  Do we accept his atonement and love unconditionally and share it with others?  Are we respectful of each other?  These are the questions I ask myself every single day!  God loves us and as a loving father, he wants us to make it!  He wants us to love each other!  That is his greatest commandment "Love thy Neighbor as Thyself!"  What a great opportunity to bring peace into this world!  LOVE!!!  It's the whole basis of Christ's atonement - true, compassionate love!

I agree with HelpinUtah.  Our Abba (Daddy in Aramaic), the word Jesus used when He spoke to God, doesn't want us fighting about a universal world currency.  IMHO He doesn't want us trashing other religions either.  All roads lead to Heaven; some just take a different route.  Imagine a conference with Jesus, Mohammed, Vishnu and deities of other religions.  More interesting than the G8.

I read through this journal entry and have found it fascinating...however, there are things I am also disturbed about.  It seems as if so many of these prophesies are coming true and that we are at the beginning of the end times....I was just curious to pick the brains of some of you who are more familiar with these teachings...Does it seem like to you that Obama could be the anti-Christ?  He seems to fit the bill to a T!  Charasmatic, charming, people worship him, false peace (which is soon on its way because of all the double talking and false promises that he has made) and how people blindly follow him!!!  Any thoughts on this?????

suzi-q, we don't know who the anti-christ will be. There's been many charismatic leaders that people wondered if they were the anti-christ, Hitler being one of them. All we can do is read the Bible, pray and ask God to open our eyes to the truth. One of the biggest signs of the anti-christ is when he will require everyone to receive his mark in order to buy, sell or do any business. So that would be the biggest clue to watch out for. God will protect those who earnestly seek his face and warn them when the time is right. I truly believe that. He will not abandon his true believers.

Believe me, I know that I am in no way to judge another....I am only human also and make plenty of mistakes!  Just curiosity in me that's all.

I agree about not judging others.  But, when it comes to our politicians, don't we have to judge in order to vote in the people we think best to run our country?  I believe God expects us to pray about and make informed decisions and if that means I have to make a judgment about someone's character in order to vote the better person in office, than so be it!  Am I wrong?

I know that I am the one that you refer to about using a name...I, at first wasn't thinking of anyone....however, after April's description that "person" jumped into my head...yes, there are bad politicians...but I have never seen one Glorified as if her were a god....that is the only reason I said it.

As I stated before, politics is for a different place, and I am sorry about infringing on this post and turning it away from what you believe from scripture...but the comparison was so strong I had to make the connection.  I guess the way Jesus had to work through God's plan and be crucified for us...we have to also be blind-sighted and think the anti-Christ is a good-doer first....that is the only way someone would follow him...no??????  I really wasn't judging...I was just stating what is fact...sorry!

                      Just for our info a lot people during Jesus' (Christ) time said he was the devil himself. How could anyone
                      hang around with misguided souls. How is it that He has the gift to heal? How can He go among the

Thank you BOLD for letting me express myself on your thread without any hard feelings...there is good and bad in everyone and it is just amazing how people defend this president without being open to any other idea!  The other presidents were often mocked and criticized...that is why I stated my view...people make him untouchable...godlike...and that is my concern.  As I said, thank you again BOLD...you are definitely a good person who lets others voice their feelings without "judgement".

All we can really do is wait and see and pray, I think. No one knows the exact hour Jesus will return but he does say we should be watchful. It's ok to be watchful and wonder. I think in all fairness Suzi was just wondering about Obama and what we thought. You are correct, jimi, that people thought George Bush might be the anti-christ. I think they wondered about Clinton and even Reagan. Some people thought it was the pope.Hitler, I think, was the closest to the description that I could think of so far. He did have people worship him and do his very bidding. People were brainwashed by him. It's pretty scary to think a man could become that powerful. This should give us an idea of how the anti-christ will be but even more so.
We must pray and ask for wisdom. God is faithful to those who truly belong to him.

I found many scriptures on the anti-christ. I know many are confusing because of the symbolism. It may be worth doing a deeper study on them when you have the time. It's pretty fascinating.

I tend to agree with what boogieman wrote.  A lot of issues are highly visible and a lot of work goes into making us "watch and learn" about them while the REAL issues are in the back pages of the newspapers or not on TV at all.

Never have I made any secret that politically I am as far to the left as a person can get and that because I am a Native person, I will have views that are different than those of other cultures.  However, the Almighty made right wings and left wings; Natives and non-Natives.  HE understands the struggle of being different.  HE loves everybody, if they let HIM.  If the world was perfect, we could disagree with issues without trashing the person or persons we disagree with.  One thing  I've noticed on Sojah's threads is that trashing very seldom occurs.  This might be the one thread where I don't feel fear at reading other people's responses.

I agree margypops.  I feel the President is downgrading America by what he says and does.   I truely feel that if we do this we are becoming a very weak country and that is what the terroists look at and will eventually take advantage of.    I still feel that America is the best place on Earth to live no matter what anyone else says.  But, God loves all people in this world.   I have to think about what will be done when he does decide to come back and what will he think of me and my life.  God Loves all but will make us responsible for the sins that we allow in our own lives.  It is the way that you deal with the sins that will make the difference.  Believe that God will forgive you for your sins and what we need to do is just ask him and believe in him.  God made this world and gave his son for each and every one of us.  

What disturbs me the most is when President Obama stated that America is not a christian nation.   That is rather scary.  I hope that all people believe that God is our creator.  Wasn't this what this country was founded on this?  Christianity does not have to do with religion, it has to do with believing that God is our creator and his son died for us and truely believe in this.  We still must treat all people, no matter what religion or beliefs, with respect and Love.   President Obama also said that he is concerned only for the terroism in Pakistan and Afghanistan and that is his #1 priority.  Of course it is but we still have to help with the laws that are put in place in that country.  With their laws women are tortured, raped and married without being asked and the men get away with this.  He wants to shut down Guantanamo for torture but is not as concerned about the torture of women in those countries.  There is a very good article written about these laws and why women in this country are extremly vital:

Why are we in more danger these last 2 weeks? Do you mean because North Korea tested that missile? But they've done that before. Let me tell you, I was overseas when they shot a missile right over us. It had everybody pretty nervous because we were so close.
My husband has what others might consider a high risk job. Do I worry about that? No. Because I know that we will not go before our time, before the Lord is ready to call us home. I try to focus on that. Yes, the world is getting crazier and crazier but that just means we need to look up because our redemption is near. Are we ready?

I agree with VicUser.  Do I believe the bible because I have read it?  No, I believe it because of my faith and prayers that are answered.  People who believe are not following blindly.  They have their eyes wide open.  I would suspect more than most people.  I'm not being combative, but if you read these posts, you'll see that it is faith that keeps us whole.  It is faith that keeps us from fearing death.  It is that faith in God and his son, Jesus Christ, that plants my feet on the ground and helps me stand up for what I believe.  It is faith that allows me to be willing to die for my Savior.  I hope that everyone can open their eyes to these truths!

Chevy man, whether you believe or not, you are a brother in the Gospel.  I hope and pray that someday you will understand.  But, until then, please respect those who respect your right to your opinions too.

I just read some of your reasons and I completely understand what you're saying.  I don't think people are just "accepting" these things.  We still believe in prayers.  We still believe in looking toward God for help. We still believe in fighting for our freedoms and for what's right!  It is inevitable that someday the Savior will come again.  It will get worse before it gets better.  That's where the faith HAS to come in.

I can tell you one thing, it's not just some religion I follow. It's an honest to gosh personal relationship with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I talk to him every day and I know he hears me and he speaks to my heart all the time. I've had prayer after prayer answered and even miracles in my life and my families lives. I've seen him time and time again show up when I've needed him. It is a faith thing. He only goes where he is welcome and where there is faith. I can tell you one thing, I've never experienced a love like his in my whole life! No human being can love like this. He loved me so much he was willing to die for me and everyone else on this earth. How can I not be thankful and grateful for that? He is the best thing that has ever happened to me! I will never be ashamed to tell anyone how much I love him and how important he is to me. You can't really explain it. It's something each person has to find for themselves. But once you discover it, wow! You never want to go back! :D

Believing in Christ is not a religion.  I do not know why so many people say this.  I believe in Christ because of what he has done for each and everyone of us.  Religion is a very large spectrum and Christianity is not a religion, it is a way of life.  Believing is not just a thought, it is in your very deepest part of your soul.  Christ is the one that I turn to for everything that I may need, because no human being on this earth can do it.  My Love for him grows stronger each and every day by seeing what he does and can do in my life and others as well.  We all have the oppurtunity to love one another and respect on another the way that Christ has shown us.  That means to even Love someone no matter what their faults or sins.  Now, that does not mean you have to agree or practice what they do, but God does want you to be respectful.  How can we show that God Loves each of us if we do not show each other that we love one another.  

We cannot expect our President to show respect for others if he does not truely believe in this and also if we do not show him how to be one nation under God.  Of course there are going to be people that do not believe no matter what you say or do, but at least you and I know that we showed them how God wants us to all be in his eyes.  God knew that there would be defiance in this world, but he also knows that there are many believers as well.  No matter what your beliefs are you and I still must be respectful of anyone that may or may not believe.  Faith is a huge step and some take alot longer than others.  I know that my life would not be complete without him in it and that I would be totally lost.  My heavenly father is the only one that knows each and every part of me and will always show me the love and compassion that I need and want.  I am a praying woman and that is the one thing that we must do for each and every country.  I am not afraid of what is or will happen, because I know that the next place I go is a wonderful and glorious place.  Life is definitely worth living, but dying is something that I do not fear.  I can definitely wait to go to heaven but if it was tomorrow then that would be just fine.  Heaven is something that I definitey look forward to.

Bold!!!  I agree completely that we need to be prepared.  The time is soon and I sometimes think sooner than we realize.  The Savior with come again like a thief in the night - so we must be prepared to accept his atonement and let it work for us.  I do belong to a religion, but my relationship with God and my Savoir goes beyond my religion or any religion.  It comes down to respecting each other and loving each other and sharing our belief and faith to help others find the faith to get through the difficult times ahead.  I will not push my religion on anyone, but I do share the love of Jesus, our Savior with anyone who will let me.  Thank you for giving everyone the opportunity to share there feelings and show each other how to hold fast and stay faithful!  It will be difficult in the end, but if we remain faithful, God and our dear Savior will bless us with peace in our hearts.  If we believe we have nothing to fear!  Even those who do not believe are loved by our kind Father!  To me that's a glorious thing - to know this!  Hugs and prayers, Janet

I was talking 2 a new believer yesterday. And I asked him did he know anything about china & the one world currency that they are coming up with. He said no so I started explaining 2 him what they are getting ready 2 do. He was fascinated by the idea, but still confused! So he said that he would look n2 it. And we parted ways. You see there are a lot of believers & non believers alike that really don't know what's going on in our country today! But they can sense something big is about 2 happen becouse of everything that's going down in our world today. Economy slump,loss of jobs, food shortages around the world etc!! The Logic of the One World Currency

Throughout the time of christianity, there has been a legacy of a one world currency that will come to be in the end times.  It is written in the bible that the Anti-Christ will develop and bring a currency to the world that is universal, meaning that money will be just that, money.  Not euro, not dollar, not yen, not peso.... Just plain money.  It is said that a one world currency is detrimental to christianity, and that God does not want a one world currency.  According to the bible, in fact, he is so very opposed to it that he endorses war, bloodshed, ill will, and even genocide as means to enforce his wishes.  God even goes so far in the book of Revelations to note that a one world currency will come to be, even though it's not what he wants us to have.

Revelation (13:16-18): "And he (the Beast) shall make all, both little and great, rich and poor, freemen and slaves, to receive a mark on their right hands, or on their foreheads, and that none might buy or sell, unless he carried this mark, which was the beast's name, or the number that stands for his name.  Here is wisdom; he that has understanding, let him count the number of the beast.  For it is the number of a man: and the number of him is six hundred and sixty-six".

Supposedly, the unified currency is of the beast, and should be considered unsavory.  Have christians not already noticed their number assigned to their name, which dictates their finances from taxation to credit?  These numbers are already assigned to some of mankind.  The rest of mankind has yet to be included in the money games that christians have both created and enjoyed. 

Just this year I met with the district manager of one of the largest financial firms in the country.  With the world economy being in the state that it has been in, I was concerned that perhaps changes had already began to take effect.  The man actually laughed in my face and informed me that a one world currency would never happen.  His words were "People are too fiercely independent to allow a one world money".  There I have it.  Either my company's boss doesn't know what he's talking about, or God doesn't know what he's talking about.  Hm...

After years of considering the potential and the liabilities of a one world currency, I have determined:

1.  It's coming.  It will happen.  It shall happen.  It's going to be.  The bible says so, and you can kick and scream and whine and just go die, if that makes you feel better, but the truth of the matter is, it will happen.

2.  Income tax rates fluctuate around the globe.  In the United Kingdom, someone might pay as much as 40% of their earnings in taxes, while in the United States, people seldom pay more than 28%.  A Frenchman can be charged as much as 58% of his earnings in income tax, the Dutchmas as much as 52%.  These are sizeable differences.  Unified currencies would level the field, so to speak.  With a one world currency, the plans for global taxation would be much easier to factor, and the purposes served by income taxes worldwide could also be consolidated into much more efficient, effective operations.  *Gasp*  Seriously, people... Why make life harder than it needs to be with a new and different government rule for every little town and settlement between here and Timbuktu?

3.  A single currency that is acceptable worldwide will simplify the workload of government and financial offices everywhere.  It would reduce mathematical errors considerably, as there would be fewer mistakes to be made in conversions.  People would be better able to understand and work together, rather than be forced to address differentials from border to border. 

4.  The largest two foreseeable problems with a one world currency is going to be, of course, the opposers, and then, the ones who are not able to comprehend the change.  If money keeps rolling and flowing through the electronic markets as it has been, they won't have too much trouble absorbing the processes, but creating a universal value on a set entity and then teaching the world as a whole to adjust their mathematical problems accordingly just might trigger a wealth of choas.

The dollar has also been supported recently by the deleveraging taking place within the U.S. financial system. Desperate for cash, U.S. financial institutions have been liquidating foreign assets and repatriating the funds, pushing up the value of the dollar. As that process plays out, a key support of the dollar's value could be removed. Currency markets are clearly jittery. In late March, U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner sent the dollar tumbling when he said he was "actually quite open" to China's proposal for a greater role for SDRs. The dollar lost 1.3% against the euro within 10 minutes of Geithner's unexpected comment. (The greenback recovered a short time later, after Geithner said he expected the dollar to remain the top global currency.) "The chance of a very abrupt fall in the dollar is quite possible," says Harvard University economist Jeffrey Frankel.
