Findings:There is normal alignment of all lumbar vertebrae and the sacrum. There is loss of intervertebral disc space height and signal intensity in the lower thoraic spine,L2-3 through L5-S1.No intrathecal masses are seen. The conus medullaris is in normal position. There are no areas of pathological signal intensity within the bone marrow of the vertebral bodies to suggest an acute fracture or neoplasm.
Axial images at L3-4 show desiccation with mild disc bulging and mild bilateral neural foraminal narrowing.
At L4-5,there is a right forminal annular tear/shallow protrution best seen on axial slice #14 and sagittal image #4.The facet joints are unremarkable. The paravertebal soft tissues are normal.
At L5-S1,there is desiccation without focal posterior disc herniation or high-grade bony canal stenosis. The visualized portions of the sacroiliac joints are within normal limits.

2.Desiccation with posterior disc bulging and mild bilateral neural foraminal narrowing at L3-4.
3.Desiccation without focal posterior disc herniation or high-grade bony canal stenosis at L5-S1.
