Husband's Hep C

I am totally frustrated! My husband was diagnosed with Hep C ten years old. He has tried all treatments but, because of his past history with alcohol/addiction, cannot tolerate them. He was listed as Stage 3 Fibrosis four years ago. He is always feeling fatigued and says his liver feels tender and swollen. He won't see a doctor because there are no more treatments. I try to be supportive but don't know what to do. Can anyone give me some insight into what all this means?
