Another symptom of cushings that Julie has been doing is "Head Pushing" against a cabinet or a wall..if she is lying close to it. Not hard..just leaning against it.  To think that I just didn't know that this was a Cushings symptom & I see her doing this for a long time. I just thought that she was "thinking or staring" whatever. What a mistake that was.

On march 21 st, Julie started on 7.5 mg....one X a day for 14 days. Than the ACTH test,  Numbers too high=8.7.
Now, on april 21st,  the Vet put Julie on 15 mg Trilostane...1X daily for 10-14 days. Than go back for another ACTH test,
This can go on  for months until she gets at the correct dose to where her numbers start coming down to normal which is 1.5 to 5.4.

Julie sleeps alot. She is still very aware & still bugs me for more food. Her appetite is humungeous.
I give her small cut up pieces of sweet potato as a treat. Dr Ness said thats good.
I give her pill in Smart Balance cream cheese. I also give her Lactaid low fat cottage cheese as a snack.
Also can veggies. All low protein.
