Help with hot flashes

I have been taking hormone replacement therapy for several years.  I started it primarily due to severe hot flashes.  When I have tried to go off of the therapy these hot flashes come back.  About two weeks ago I went to hear a woman, Jan Roberts, speak about having  healthly babies. (went with my daughter)  During her talk I learned of a product called Femmenessence by Natural Health International.  I needed to refill my hormone rx so instead I started taking Femmenessence every day.  Three weeks later, much to my surprise, I still am feeling fine, no hot flashes.
Just wanted to share this in case it might help someone else.

hi jan why don't you try black kohash i'm native american it really works for the hot flashes hormones gave my aunt breast cancer last year  you can get the black kohash at any drug store or wal-mart

Suzanne Somers has a wonderful book out about hormones. It goes into great detail. I can't think of the name right now, but I'll bet you can find it on amazon or ebay. Very informative and worth the price! I hit menopause like a brick wall 2 years ago when I had an emergency hysterectomy. Best of luck and God bless you.

Pattyann and Lee just for your FYI Femmenessence is a little different to Black Cohosh and Bio Identical hormones. Black Cohosh is beneficial to reduce hot flashes and night sweats, primarily during peri menopause but in relation to heart, bone and mental health it has limited benefits for a post menopausal women (the time after menopause from on average 50 yo to 100 yo). That is why so many doctors are moving back to hormones but now of the bio identical form.

Femmenessence is different in that it doesn't introduce any hormones into the body whether they are animal (HRT) or synthetic (Bio Identical). In fact it has a completely different process where by it stimulates the body's own production of not just one or two hormones but balances all hormones and has benefits in correcting lipid profiles to support heart health and increases in bone density.
