Home stretch...

Apr 09, 2008 11:21AM - 0 comments

Well I'm on the home stretch I think as far as tests for infectious diseases go.... I am now past thinking I have HIV, sorry about my excessive questioning.... Heres my new theory: contracted HepB one year ago, symptoms developed 2 months after exposure, and gradually got better.  I got tested at 5 1/2 months with Hep panel: Neg Hep A, Neg HbsAg, Neg Anti-HBV IgM, Neg Hep C.  I believe that my body ALMOST cleared HepB and therefore the HbsAg was so low in concentration that it couldn't be picked up on the test, and the Anti-HBV IgM has almost disappeared as well.  I believe however that my body was unable to clear all of it, hence why symptoms are resufacing now, a year later, and worse than the first time.  Again, this is all a theory, i haven't gotten my test results back yet.... hopefully later today or tomorrow for sure, i guessing something is positive and that's why its taking so long, because they have to confirm it..... I have a slight glimmer of hope though.  Maybe this is HepA and I got it when I was out of the country in December/January.... atleast that one isn't chronic, weird that one would hope to have HepA huh?  Oh well, wish me luck, i feel like my life is ending... and im only 20 :(  God have mercy....
