I saw my primary care doctor today, after meeting my osteopathic doc again after months away. The osteopath is awesome. She really really cares about people and treats them as she would want her family cared for. I love that! One down side... the pain I get afterwards for the first several weeks. She listened well. Took all my problems in stride and looked at my concerns. Regarding the lump that was not shown on the MRI that was completely clear (yay!) she said she believes it is not bone, but most likely not lymph either. (Oh and no MS or adenoma) So that leaves a cyst.. and that is an easy fix!
Then I went to the primary doc. I was seeing her regarding the incessant itching I have had for two weeks straight without a rash or distinguishing marking and without relief from OTC antihistamines. She questioned me up and down about new meds, new products, new clothes, allergies... etc... All of which are nothing new. Then we discussed my recurrant new problem. Moderate to sometimes severe pain just below my right ribs that I seem to get for months to a year every three to five years, since I was 13. She thinks it is related to my newly diagnosed Ulcerative colitis, BUT that is supposedly very mild and very recent. At 13, 16, 19, 22, 27 I had scopes and all were normal. Till this last winter. So I don't think the pain could be related. However, I asked about mono again and as the first episode went, was basically ignored. Thats ok, I see my ENT and can ask about the "cyst" this week and my GI and can ask about the pain, next
In the mean time... problems persist, keep multiplying and slowely dragging me down. The most recent.. a low grade fever for 5 days. The chills are worse, migraine for 4 days straight, back and side pain, burning that is beyond belief. AND no signs of infection other than my chronically elevated WBC. No cold or flu like stuff. Competely clear for once. Of course... falling asleep playing a game with my daughter, falling over in the hall going to the bathroom, and then not being able to sleep well nights due to pain and itching, night sweats, chills, etc........ I am wiped! Maybe an anti itching pill to stop the symptom and help me sleep is called for at 1 am.
The only question remains... what to do next.
