Day 82

Apr 11, 2008 12:28AM - 2 comments

Well, I thought I'd try to post something positive here, Lord knows I don't need to write that I have back pain to know it!  As some of you know, I had made a list quite a bit ago (A Journal Entry), of things I planned to do as I got better.  Some of those things have been done, or are in the process of doing...and of course, I'm always looking to add new things to it.  Today, I was in a guitar shop with one of my youngins checkin' out bass guitars/lessons, that whole deal.  I've got a birthday coming up, so I think I'll be able to swing a deal with the hubby to agree with the purchase...as soon as I buy it, that'll be another thing to be checked off and I'm so lookin' forward to that.  On day 90, which is soon approaching, I'll be going to a Rufus Wainwright concert, another thing on my list, and one I've been wanting to do for years but was too sick to go.  So, despite having wicked nights, with pain and sleeplessness, I'm still managing to live the best I can, rock on, and dream of what to do tomorrow....

This is not to say I am without some majorly down days due to health issues, but on the whole, I'm livin' large, and likin' it much!

Thanks Cathy.  I do appreciate your words and thoughts.  Lord knows the nights suck big time for me, but I am tryin' to just keep on movin' ahead and diggin' what I can outta things.  I'm tryin' some new things, and one of them I'll be starting next week, meditation.  I figure it can't hurt, and it does help to be proactive and reactive rather than just sittin' on my *** wishin' things were different, ya know?

Keepin' my head focused on the good really helps, as does keepin' the music cranked and the head a bobbin'.  Always happy to chat with you babe, you're a real peach!

: )      Rock on and smile while you're doin' it!
