I had that happen recently.. my doctor said it may be the way I wipe. I also read it on the info sheet that comes with Uristat. <~~ Uristat helps, but doesnt cure the infection. But then you said usually after sex, perhaps its not UTI. You probably have some other sort of infection. Yeast?? That comes with burning sensatn too I think. Go to a gyn and get it checked out.

hi Nicky,I also suffer from reacurring infections.I see a urologist. you might consider seeing a female doctor .they do seem to understand the feelings that we have much better than a male doctor ever could, no matter what they think they have never had a vagina!!!! U.T.I. can be caused by irritation or lack of lubercation to be blunt during sex,it can be painful so you tense up the muscles and the penis irritates the urtura ( spelling) the tube that goes from the bladder to the outside of the body, that may be also why you are getting yeast infections from time to time, you have to make sure that you are "ready and willing " i.e. lots of foreplay please, before you allow him inside of you.If you still are having u.t.infections after trying this for a few weeks please ask to see a urologist for a second option.you may have cystist ( again sorry about the spelling ) a inflammation of the bladder walls that causes a burning and bleeding that some doctors mistake for cronic u.t.infections .I hope this helps you out I know how awful and painful they are!!! sorry I was so foward but you almost have to be with this topic,puddles66
