Sick Goats

We don't know how this has happened, because the feed door was locked when we went up to the field.  But a number of our goats (up to 6) have been eating chicken food.  This is potentially lethel.  We have given all of them bicarb of soda as recommended by the vets, but we have just had to call out the emergency vet because one of them is off her legs.  I think we are going to lose her.  Potentially we could lose all of them.  They all have kids that are not ready to be weaned.  It is just so awful and we are all so upset.  We are just going to have to sit tight and wait and see who makes it through.
